I'm so happy I chose to bring our truck here to fix. I'm so happy with the customer service I received from Nanea. She helped me get everything square as far as my service contract taking care of their end of the payment. She was extremely thorough and very nice. As far as the repair....I took it to Jerry for a reason. I have a service contract and it only covers "the actual problem". Meaning...they tell me it's the valve spring and they give me the price $almost $300 and I give the ok to fix it. But, if that's not the problem and the trk is still broken I will have to pay that bill and they continue until the trk is fixed. Then the service contract kicks in and pays! Well, I could've taken it to another shop or dealer and "got taken". It would still be there and I'd have a bill I couldn't pay but, I'd keep saying "yah! Fix it" hoping it would finally get fixed and be in a huge hole FOR NOTHING!! So, THANK YOU JERRY ROMANO AND YOUR STAFF FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE! Also, I just want to let everyone know...this is your one stop shop! THRY DONT ONLY FIX TRANSMISSIONS!! Aloha. And Mahalo!! See you again!! FOR SURE!!

New owner, Jerry Romero, treated us and our 1969 Bug with such class, professionalism and fairness. We got referred to this transmission shop by another top notch mechanic shop in Kailua, RNS Automotive, as they do not do trans work on classic VW and on another night when we had to get towed home, by the tow driver, so we knew this was a good place. Jerry honestly told us what the issue was, they give a detailed invoice and was reasonably priced. Jerry called my husband often, keeping him in the loop about their progress. Ends up our Bug did not need a new trans, but a new clutch pressure plate! Hubby also asked them to do an overall check on our classic and Jerry kindly adjusted the points on the distributor, no extra charge! That's going above and beyond for a customer! He shared he used to race V-Dub Bugs back in the day, so we could see how passionate he still is about this make and model of car. My husband and I are very satisfied customers and will come back to see Jerry for our vehicle maintenance and repair, as they not only do transmission services.

So glad I choose this place over any known chain autorepair shop. Very helpful, and knowledgable!! I'd recommend these guys to everyone :)

Amazing shop. Ritto helped me out. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. This is by far one of the most honest and reliable shops I have ever been to. They do more than just Trans work. They are usually pretty busy so be sure to call ahead.

Well I just want to say that I had a great experience. I read some reviews that were not so nice but I thought that I would give it a shot. I am so glad that I did. I went in and spoke to Judy (one of the owners), she was very nice and very knowledgeable. I told her what kind of problem my daughter was having with her car and she gave me a few scenarios on what could be the problem but also told me that the best thing to do would be to bring it in so that they could put it on the diagnostic machine. The next morning we took it in and they called me with the price got the work done the same day. Then a few days after the job was done, I received a follow up call from Judy to see how everything was going, which I was not expecting. I will defiantly be keeping their number on my phone. Great job Willy's....thank you again for such a great experience.

Excellent work. This is a small business that is focused on repairing your vehicle, not necessarily customer support. I had to call them to get the answers I needed. They are a little on the expensive side but they do quality work. I will be going back if I need more work done.
